National AGM Weekend, October 30th - November 1st 2009

Dear National Executive

Congratulations on yet another fantastic CWL Conference. The best yet, in my opinion in the 3 years which I have attended.

Such inspiring guest speakers and motivational talks by our Regional and Executive Representatives. We were fired up by the talks, which were so emotionally moving, thought-provoking and informative, that we will definitely be organising a specific fund raising event for the Help the Heroes charity - watch this space!

The Question and Answer time at the end of the conference was handled very effectively and it was brilliant to be able to hear some "personal" viewpoints, without too much waffle! Thank you for all your wonderful work in ensuring our Conferences are so well organised - technical hitches only adding to the entertainment value of the conference!

Our section (Adeyfield - Westminster Branch) hired a self-drive minibus to be able to journey together to the venue, thereby adding to the camaraderie and team-work. I am convinced that occasions such as this can only add more "glue" to our already cohesive section whilst demonstrating that we are important little cogs in the larger wheel which is the ever turning CWL .
Well done ladies and we look forward to next year at Southport!
